There are several types of employees in a company. In this case, we are going to talk about “trusted employees”. What is a trusted or reliable employee? They are those subordinates of a company, who have a greater range of responsibilities within the organization. Those whose hierarchy is more linear or symmetrical to the higher positions in the company, compared to other employees. They are workers who receive orders directly from the employer and can be considered representatives of their superior within the organization.
Having said this, we could determine that being a trusted employee can be seen as a step of labor growth and promotion, within the organization; since they perform supervisory functions such as: Direction, Inspection, Control, Surveillance and among others.
When we have an organization, it is essential to perform the corresponding diagnostics to obtain the benefits and results we expect. It is vital to have an external labor and human resources consultancy for the selection of these candidates, to ensure that they have the necessary skills to adequately perform the supervisory tasks. In addition, it is necessary to examine criteria such as the type of services provided by the worker, his or her responsibility to his or her employers, the sensitivity of the task, and the autonomy degree.
All this, in addition to generating an adequate distribution of functions and responsibilities in an equitable manner and in accordance with the capabilities of each collaborator, helps us to have a good work environment where everyone can best exploit his or her professional skills.
